Pennsylvania Saddlebred
    Horse Association

The Pennsylvania Saddlebred Horse Association (PSHA) is a registered charter club of the American Saddlebred Horse Association. PSHA was established in the early 80’s and is proud to have members in multiple states. We were honored to have been named Charter Club of the year in 2005 for our dedication to the breed and to our members.

The American Saddlebred is the ultimate show horse as well as a truly enjoyable pleasure mount. They are a spectacle of beauty and grace with their high-stepping and elegant movement. American Saddlebreds possess that people-oriented quality called personality, endearing them to their owners and admirers. Their conformation makes them very comfortable to ride and their animation, speed, intelligence and powerful muscling make them very exciting. The versatile Saddlebred has excelled in many non-traditional disciplines such as dressage, eventing, show jumping, combined driving, and endurance, as well as recreational and competitive trail riding.

Our mission is to promote this incredible breed at the local level. We sponsor classes at over 20 regional horse shows including the PA 4-H Saddleseat Equitation Finals, participate in regional expositions,  and manage the Keystone Classic Horse Show at the scenic Quentin Riding Club.

In addition, PSHA members are eligible to compete for annual high point awards in over 30 categories ranging from performance to academy. Our annual awards banquet provides a fun opportunity to socialize with other members & celebrate everyone’s show ring successes.

PSHA hopes you will join us in promoting the horse that America made ... The American Saddlebred!
